FAQs

What time does the ceremony start?

We have not yet finalized the day-of timeline! It will probably be around 4 o’clock.

What’s with the doves?

I’m so glad you asked. One night, after a long day of celebrating a good friend as a groomsman in his wedding, Brett decided it was the perfect time to ask Caitlin to be his girlfriend. Her answer was: “maybe ask me again when you’re sober”, to which he replied: “Oh, I wasn’t actually asking you. If I was… there would be wayyy more doves”.

What is the dress code?

For the wedding: Formal attire. The bride is not worried about you “upstaging” her, so go all out! Dress as colorful or as chic as you desire. Feathers? Go for it! A fascinator? Love it. Sparkles? Heck yeah! Feel free to check out this mood board for ideas (moodboard coming soon).

For the welcome party: Cocktail casual. Less formal than meeting the queen of Genovia, but more formal than a Swedish meatball dinner-date at Ikea. In other words, khaki’s are perfect. We’ll be outside so a light jacket also isn’t a bad idea.

Can we bring our babies / toddlers?

This is a child-free wedding. Please leave the kids at home for this one.

Should we say goodbye if we can’t stay the whole time?

The couple HIGHLY ENCOURAGES Irish goodbyes the night of the wedding. If you must leave early—just head off on your merry way, and send a text later! We promise we do not think it is rude, we just want to keep dancing!
