Getting to La Grange, NC

Our wedding reception and ceremony will be held at Britton Manor, a Châteauesque private estate located in the small town of La Grange, NC . Surrounded by rolling hills and lush fields, La Grange will make you feel like you’ve landed in the French countryside without ever leaving the south. While beautiful, this rural town does not have much to offer outside of the Manor itself (unless you like mini ponies), so we recommend you plan your stay for Kinston, NC. Kinston is home to an amazing (Brett-approved) brewery, great local restaurants, lively nightlife, and home to what Caitlin’s family has called “the best BBQ ever” for over 50 years.

Getting to both La Grange & Kinston couldn’t be easier! The closest airports are Albert J. Ellis Airport (OAJ), about 42 mi from La Grange and 47 mi from Kinston, and Coastal Carolina Regional (EWN), about 40 mi and 38 mi away, respectively. The Raleigh–Durham International (RDU) is about 80 mi from both La Grange and Kinston, a scenic ~1½‑hour drive.

We also highly recommend renting a car—public transit and rideshares are sparse in the area, so having your own set of wheels will make your stay smooth, flexible, and stress-free!
